London’s top venues for signature cocktails with a view

Gemma Banks our Creative Sales Director shares her thoughts on the sunniest spots to drink the cocktails this Spring.

London is glistening with the regular appearance of the sun as we go further in to Spring. What better way to enjoy the weather than with a signature cocktail and fabulous view at some of London’s best bars.

Queen of Hoxton

The Queen of Hoxton’s rooftop is open all year around in the evenings and is known for it’s pop-ups. From May until September, it will be transformed into the Cuban-themed “Smokin’ Graciela’s”, serving up Daiquiris, Cuban iced coffee and Cubanos (Cuban sandwiches) – our pick is the slow roasted pork. There’ll also be a number of Cuban-inspired evenings, such as cigar and rum pairings and domino night.

Frank’s Cafe

Frank’s Cafe is the flagship architectural commission of Bold Tendencies in Peckham. The bar was designed by Practice Architecture and opened in 2008 by bartender, Frank Boxer and chef, Michael Davies.

With classics such as Negroni, Aperol Spritz, Bloody Mary and Pimms and Lemonade, this is one of the most ideal places for a sunny afternoon. Prices range from £5-£7.50. (Bargain)

Dalston Roof Park

Coming soon on 1st May 2015 is the re-launch of Dalston Roof Park. Framed by the city skyline, this rooftop oasis transforms what was once forgotten space into a traditional English Garden. Nestled amongst Hackney’s Victorian buildings and over looking the London city skyscrapers, Dalston’s only rooftop garden is an opportunity to relax, eat, drink, dance and see the London landscape differently.
