Shortlisted for SRA Food Made Good Awards for the third year running

bartlett mitchell, parent company to Inn or Out Events is vying with some of the UK’s best known restaurant and hospitality names to be a winner at the Food Made Good Awards 2016 – which reward the unsung heroes of hospitality who go way beyond just serving delicious food.

bartlett mitchell is on the shortlist for the ‘Food Made Good Caterer of the Year Award 2016’. bartlett mitchell were awarded Sustainable Caterer of the Year by the SRA in 2014 and 2015, so they are hoping to achieve a triple crown this year.

Round up of 2015

Almost a year since bartlett mitchell acquired Inn or Out Events, the company has gone from strength to strength growing the range of venues it caters at by 20% and boosting sales by 11% on its previous year. 
New venues for the company include:
Fixed venues at Salters’ Hall and Watermens Hall
Sole Caterer at Headrooms – a unique meetings and events venue in Clerkenwell
Preferred supplier at the Charles Dickens Museum in Bloomsbury and the Wax Chandlers Museum in Gresham Street in the City and Jane St in the walkie talkie building

Wendy Bartlett awarded MBE and top industry honour

Wendy Bartlett, has enjoyed an incredible July.  Last week, she received the MBE she was awarded in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List for services to the hospitality industry at Windsor Castle from HRH The Princess Royal and earlier in the month, she was also singled out for one of the hospitality industry’s ‘Oscars’, a Catey Award, for Foodservice Caterer of the Year at a glittering ceremony at Park Lane’s Grosvenor Hotel.

Inn or Out Events expands its senior team

Inn or Out Events, the company acquired by specialist caterer bartlett mitchell last Autumn, has appointed two new members to its senior team.

Gemma Banks has been appointed as Creative Director and Cris Macis as Executive Chef. Both have a strong background in the events sector and previously held the positions of Sales & Events Manager and Executive Chef respectively for The Admirable Crichton.
